Gathering knowledge for the new new moon on October 27, 2019. The reason I would like to go out and shoot on the evening of the new moon is to hopefully capture the Milky Way. Yes the Milky Way. The location I’ve decided to visit on this night are a part of the Everglades in South Florida. This would be the closest area with the least light pollution, not as ideal if I drove farther, but good enough for this time. I do plan to visit lower light pollution areas during the summer months in 2020, but for now this will have to do. The Milky Way is not as visible as it was during earlier months, but I should be able to capture a part of it and will have enhance in post.
